Installation and getting started
The public download is not open yet. Leave us your address and we will let you know the moment it is. Everything else on this page — the full getting-started guide, Infomaniak key included — can be read right now.
We will open the download once the installer is signed: without a signature, Windows shows a warning the first time you run it, and a warning is not the first thing a practice should see. In the meantime, a demonstration over a call shows you the product.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).
- An Internet connection (AI processing goes through a Swiss operator, without exception).

Getting started
From installation to your first task
Five steps. This is what installation day looks like, and you can read it today.
Download and install
You get the Windows installer and run it. LEMIA installs like any ordinary desktop application, for your user account, with no administrator rights — nothing to host, no server to set up.
Open the app — sovereign by design
On first launch the app walks you through five screens: the connection code we give you, the terms of use, the workstation name, the Infomaniak key, then your practice’s profession. The interface is in French. On sovereignty there is nothing to choose or switch on: every AI call goes through a Swiss operator (Infomaniak, hosted in Switzerland). The AI’s web tools are switched off by default: no request leaves for a third party outside Switzerland on the AI’s initiative unless you explicitly enable the web mode — enabling it is then your decision and your responsibility.
Create your Swiss AI key — one key for every model
The AI runs on your own Infomaniak key: your content goes straight from your computer to the Swiss operator, under your own contract, and Infomaniak bills you directly for what you use, with no margin on our side. One key covers every model — writing, analysis, image reading, audio transcription. The full procedure is set out below.
Hand a first task to an agent
In the Agents space, describe what you expect. Switch on “Plan” so the agent asks its questions and submits a plan before acting, or “Processus” for a complete task, carried out step by step and checked at the end. And for a chain of steps you will run again and again, the Workflows space — the professional mode, not included in the test edition — lets you build it by hand, setting by setting.
Approve the deliverables
New documents wait off to one side: by default, they only reach your folders once you click “Valider” (Approve). A correction you ask for on an existing document applies straight away, and can be undone for 14 days by default.
Step by step
Your Infomaniak key, step by step
One key — a token and a product identifier — covers every model in LEMIA: writing, analysis, image reading, audio transcription. Nothing else to configure, no key per model. The key belongs to you.
Create (or reuse) an Infomaniak account
Go to infomaniak.com and create an account in the name of your firm or practice — or reuse the Infomaniak account you may already have (hosting, email). No credit card required at this stage.
Activate the AI Services
In the Infomaniak Manager (the administration area), open AI Tools / AI Services and create a product. You are given a product identifier (“Product ID”) — a plain number, shown in the clear.
Generate the API token
Still in the Manager, generate an API token: this is the key itself. Copy it straight away and keep it like a password — it is never shown again. Give it the “ai-tools” scope only: a broader token would also open your email or your kDrive to anyone who holds it.
Enter the key in LEMIA
In the app: Settings · Technical settings · API keys → paste the token and the Product ID, then save. The key is kept at once in an encrypted vault on your machine, never shown in the clear; the workstation calling Infomaniak uses the key in the clear at the moment of the call, as does any software that uses an API key.
Check it with a quick test
Ask a question in the Conversation to check everything works. You then track usage from your Infomaniak dashboard; it is billed per token by Infomaniak.
