In Switzerland, without exception: every AI call goes through a Swiss operator, by design — there is nothing to choose or switch on, and the tools that would give the AI access to the internet are switched off by default (an optional web mode, enabled explicitly, remains your responsibility). Six ready-to-use modes are offered, each backed by a sovereign model (Mistral-Small-4, Qwen3.5, Kimi-K2.6, Nemotron), from the fastest to the one with the largest context window (up to 1 million tokens). No: the major public AI services are neither offered nor reachable in LEMIA. This is a verifiable property of the architecture — there is no setting to enable them, so no file covered by professional secrecy is ever sent to a consumer AI service.

It is not forbidden as such — and be wary of anyone who answers yes without qualification. Regulators and professional bodies have mapped out lawful ways to do it; they assume a file you build and maintain yourself: impact assessment, data-processing agreement, configuration of the service, informing the people concerned. So the real question is not “am I allowed?” but “who carries the burden of proof?”. With a public AI service, you do. With LEMIA, the technical measures are the default state and the application produces the file that documents them; compliance itself remains yours — the data-processing agreement and your own situation are to be confirmed with your legal advisor.

Content is processed in Switzerland, on the practice’s own account, and the publisher never reads it. What reaches our control server is orchestration metadata — steps, counters, statuses, durations — and never the text of your files: the server accepts only a closed list of permitted fields. That is a property of the architecture, not a commercial undertaking. The details are on the Security page and in the privacy policy.

It does get things wrong — which is precisely why nothing exists before you approve it. Agents write into a staging area, an automatic quality check reviews the deliverable and can send it back for correction, and nothing is copied into your real folders or sent without you having seen the content and clicked. You remain the author and the person responsible for whatever leaves the practice: the only tenable position for a profession bound by secrecy.

LEMIA is desktop software: your files stay on your own computer and are never read by the publisher. Agents are confined to the folder you open; human approval is required before any send, documents produced await your approval, and any change to an existing document can be undone. AI processing runs through a Swiss operator, without exception. The mechanisms are detailed on the Security page.

Yes: LEMIA is designed precisely for professions bound by professional secrecy (Art. 321 of the Swiss Criminal Code). It provides the technical measures (processing in Switzerland, encryption, human approval); full compliance also depends on the data processing agreement (DPA) and on your own situation, both of which should be confirmed with your legal advisor. The download is not open yet: request access and we will let you know the moment it opens. Once downloads are open, you will install the Windows application, then follow the getting started guide: activating access to the models, your first workflow. The detailed configuration guides are also built into the application (Help button).

The subscription is sold in seat tiers and covers the software, updates and support. A licence account manages seats and invoices; the content of your files never passes through it. AI usage runs on your own Infomaniak key: a single key for all models, with usage billed directly by Infomaniak. Setting it up is guided (see the getting started guide). Not by default: the tools that would give the AI access to the web are cut off. An optional web mode exists (globe button): you enable it explicitly, after accepting a warning; the AI is then under strict instruction to disclose nothing sensitive in its queries, and the runs concerned are flagged in the register. Enabling it is your responsibility — and it can be switched off at any time.

Prices are being finalised: each plan is quoted individually, based on the number of seats. Three plans exist — Solo, Practice, Firm — and your AI usage never passes through us: it is billed directly by Infomaniak on your own key, with no margin on our side. The application checks the published versions and notifies you when an update is available (Settings): you then download the new installer from the site and run it — it replaces the version in place and your local data is kept. Nothing installs behind your back, and the subscription covers these updates.
