The LEMIA software, the LEMIA trademark and logo, and all the content of this website (texts, visuals, illustrations) are the property of the Publisher or its licensors. Any reproduction, representation or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited, with the exception of short quotations with acknowledgement of the source.

4. Sources of the registers

The software lets you download reference registers. They are not the Publisher’s work: each is a dated copy of a source that retains the rights in it. Their conditions of use are set out in Art. 12.3 of the Terms of Use. Only the source is authoritative.

  • Federal law — source: Fedlex, the publication platform for federal law (Classified Compilation, in French, German and Italian).
  • Geneva law — source: the Geneva classified compilation (rs/GE), public SIL version, Republic and Canton of Geneva.
  • Vaud law — source: Base législative vaudoise (BLV), State of Vaud.
  • Case law — source: decisions published by the Federal Supreme Court and by Geneva and Vaud courts, collected through entscheidsuche.ch. Partial selection.
  • Commercial register — source: Federal Commercial Registry Office (FCRO; in French OFRC), Central Business Name Index (Zefix), open data published on LINDAS.
  • List of Pharmaceutical Specialities, List of Medical Aids and Appliances (MiGeL/LiMA), List of Analyses — source: Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH; in French OFSP).
  • Professional information on medicinal products (AIPS) — source: Refdata foundation, under its terms of use; the version in force is to be read on swissmedicinfo.ch.
  • TARDOC and outpatient flat rates — © OTMA (Organisation tarifs médicaux ambulatoires SA; in German OAAT), under its licence terms; use in Switzerland and Liechtenstein only.
  • Tax circulars — source: Federal Tax Administration (FTA; in French AFC).
  • Legal commentary — source: Onlinekommentar (onlinekommentar.ch), commentaries by their respective authors, published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). Each commentary is cited with its author’s name; machine translations are not to be cited, only the original version is authoritative.

The rights holder of any of these sources who wishes a correction or a withdrawal may write to contact@lemia.ch.

5. Liability

Use of the software and verification of the content produced by the AI are the responsibility of the user. The Terms of Use and their limitation of liability clause (Art. 100 CO) apply. The information published on this website is provided for guidance only and may change; it does not constitute professional advice.

6. Data protection

The processing of personal data relating to the website and to the business relationship is described in the Privacy Policy (Art. 19 of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, “FADP”).

7. Governing law

The website and its content are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the Publisher’s domicile, namely Geneva, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory places of jurisdiction provided by law.
